One of the things I realized is that there is a lot of stigma around women dating much younger men. For reasons I honestly do not understand and truth be told this had an influence on me at the beginning of the relationship. I really had to get over that fear and not care what others thought — something Timo is much better at than I am.
In addition to that, I knew my parents did not care about his age and neither did my best friends. In fact, I always knew I would date younger rather than older. I always thought older men were boring and I just never clicked with them. That is just my personal experience. I made the decision to be on my own for a while after a dating disappointment, this time one that hit me pretty hard. But also my birthday was approaching and I had real mixed feelings about it.
